Meal entitlement is defined per employee and entry is recorded by QR or card. The daily count goes to the kitchen and the entitlement and deduction go to payroll, from the same record.

What happens without this module

How many people will eat is estimated by eye; what is left over is waste and what runs short is a complaint.

The employee contribution is posted to payroll from a separate list at month end, and when someone disputes it there is nothing to point to.

Once it is set up, every period runs in the same order, and most of the steps happen on their own.
